Background
College of Education and Behavioral Sciences is one of the newly established colleges at Injibara University in 2021 having four departments: Educational Planning and Management, Psychology, Early Childhood and Care Education, and Special Need and Inclusive Education.
Currently, it has five undergraduate programs, and four post graduate programs (MA in Educational Planning and Management, MA in Developmental Psychology, MA in Counseling Psychology, and MA in Special Need and Inclusive Education).
The college aims to produce competent graduates with required knowledge, skills and attitudes; to carry out problem solving research and demand driven community services; to enhance the quality of teaching and learning via equipping University instructors with the art and science of teaching, assessment, classroom management strategies and action research through induction and higher diploma program and continuous teaching profession development.
Currently, in the college, there are 31 academic staff members. Among them, two are Associate Professors and seven are Assistant Professors.
The college envisions to become a premier college of Education and Behavioral Sciences in Ethiopia by 2030.
