Led by the dean of the students’ services, the office is accountable to the Vice President for Administrative and Development. To support the three core goals of the university, namely the teaching-learning, doing problem based research and then provision of community services, the dean office of the students provides appropriate services for undergraduate regular students since the university has commenced the teaching-learning process in 2017/2018 and since then it has contributed to the peaceful teaching learning environment.
The office in general organizes and controls the daily services provided to the students. The office has a total of 846 staff members of whom 54 permanent employees and the rest 846 are outsourcing staffs.
Services offered by the office of dean of the students’ service are focused on:-
- Students meal service
- Dormitory service
- Clinic service
- Guidance and coursing service and
- Sport and recreation service
In doing so, the office is working in close connection with other parallel offices and students union for all the mentioned divergent range of service provisions in order to address students’ needs and interests. As such, the office coordinates the efforts of multiple offices whose work involves support for students. In general, the office of the dean of students is committed to helping all Injibara University undergraduate students, advocate and offer support for students and their success throughout their academic stay to reach the fullest potential through fulfilling the above mentioned services.
